Your Car’s Inspiring List of New Year’s Resolutions

2018 Ford Explorer

The New Year is all about making a fresh start and getting back in touch with what really matters most. As your family’s well-loved Ford vehicle, I have a few New Year’s resolutions of my own. Just like you, I can’t wait to spend more time with the whole family this year, embarking on brand new adventures and having an absolute blast.

Spend more time with family

This year, I’m resolving to spend more time with the whole family. Luckily, Ford makes doing so better than ever, with vehicles like the Ford Explorer and the Ford Edge. It’ll be no problem at all planning plenty of quality time with the family throughout the New Year.

Take on new adventures

It’s easy to get stuck in a rut. That’s what I’m resolving to take on new adventures in the New Year. Ford offers an adventure-ready SUV for every lifestyle, so I’ll have you covered whether you’re taking on a cross-country road trip or simply getting away from it all for a weekend.

Have more fun

Finally, I’ll have more fun in the New Year. Everyday driving can become dull, the morning commute can be a chore, but Ford’s lineup turns every outing into a memorable excursion.

Of course, to get me into top shape for the upcoming year, you may want to bring me in for an inspection at Westland Ford.

Head to the Ogden Valley Balloon & Artists Festival

Take the little ones out to the Ogden Valley Balloons Artist Festival!

Since its inception in 1994, the Ogden Valley Balloon & Artists Festival has been hailed as a local rite of passage between summer and fall. Held on the third weekend in August, the Ogden Valley Balloon & Artists Festival features hot air balloons, live entertainment, food, arts & crafts, and even a balloon glow!

The festival attracts between 13,000 to 16,000 attendees every year, including local residents, out-of-state visitors, artists, balloon pilots, and musicians. It takes place north of Ogden City at Eden Park and features five balloon launches with 15 hot air balloons, a nighttime “balloon glow,” tethered rides, and activities for young children. Make sure you bring cash for the artists and vendors, and maybe even budget for a hot air balloon ride (which is $520 per couple for one day or $1000 for the whole weekend).

The Ogden Valley Balloon & Artists Festival has been one of Ogden City’s leading attractions for years, and it’s not something to be missed. From displaying local culture to experiencing the novelty of seeing hot air balloons in flight up close, there are all sorts of things for the whole family to enjoy. Get your camera ready and mark the festival on your calendar! If you need a ride to get you to the festival, come to check out our lineup of Fords here at Westland Ford.
